Diaries are typically manufactured with a hard rigid front and rear cover, providing good protection to the diaries pages. Diary Date Ranges
The majority of diaries and calendars cover a 12 month period from January-December. Academic diaries cover a 12 month period from August-July to take into account the academic year.
Diary Stock
Our stock of next year's diaries usually becomes available around June / July. We recommend that you order your diaries as early as possible as stock will become very low from early November onwards and we are unlikely to receive any further stock.
Mounted / Unmounted Planners
Mounted planners are made from stiff thick board and can usually be folded in half for storage or transportation. Unmounted planners are made from a durable encapsulated thin card that can be rolled up for storage or transportation. Most wall planners are made from a good quality card that is encapsulated, magnetic metal planners are also available which allow for magnetic strips to be placed on dates to display information. Some wall planners also use drywipe surfaces, so information can be added or removed as needed. Perpetual planners allow for re-use as they do not list any particular year and only list month and day. Depending on the planner some are supplied with an accessory kit such as stickers and pens, accessory kits are available separately.

Machines
Pouch Laminators: Use laminating pouches to protect and seal documents, simply select the right size pouch for your document. Heat is used to seal the pouch and encapsulate the document, for a high quality professional finish. Select a model that can laminate your largest item. Ideal for all document sizes and a variety of pouch thicknesses.
Two Roller Laminators: Available in A4 laminator and A3 laminator sizes, these laminators are suitable for light duty office use. Offering a cost effective solution for laminating, these models will have slower warm-up and operating speeds. Ideal for laminating 150 (2x75) micron and 250 (2x125) micron pouches.
Four Roller Laminators: Available in A4 laminator, A3 laminator and A2 laminator sizes, these laminators are suitable for medium to heavy-duty office use. Features are designed for frequent use with fast warm-up times, faster lamination and robust motors. Ideal for laminating 150 (2x75) micron up to 500 (2x250) micron pouches.
Technology
SureFlow™ Technology: Anti-jam technology from GBC ensures perfect lamination results time after time.
HighSpeed™ Technology: GBC offer a range of two and four roller laminators designed with market leading speed of throughput for super-fast completion of day to day lamination tasks.
Roll Laminators
Use laminating film on a roll rather than individual pouches. Two rolls of film are supplied as a pair and documents pass between the two layers. The laminated document is trimmed to size once the process is complete. Ideal for banners and volume production of documents.
Cold Laminators
These are usually manual machines using self-seal pouches. Ideal for situations where power is not available, or for use by children as no heat is involved.
Laminator Pouches
Laminating Materials: Laminating pouches are measured in microns. Microns relate to the total thickness, eg. 150 micron is made up of 2x75 micron layers. Pouches are sealed along the shortest side with the other three sides open for easy positioning of the document between the two layers.
Laminator Pouches: Available in a range of thicknesses (microns) to suit different applications. 150 micron (2x75) is ideal for everyday lamination tasks. 360 micron (2x180) is ideal where a more rigid finish is required, suitable for documents that are regularly handled. 500 micron (2x250) is very rigid. Documents will stand up, suitable for documents that are constantly handled - menus for example.
Peel ‘n’ Stick™ Pouches: Come complete with a sticky back for easy creation of posters and signs.
Organise™ Pouches: Extra wide and multi-punched for filing laminated documents.
High Speed Laminator Pouches: Sealed on the long edge, approximately 30% faster than using standard A4 pouches. Available in a range of thicknesses to suit different applications.
